Jay has 40 years business experience including functional and leadership roles in financial services, finance, operations, alliances, and sales. He is a 25-year veteran of telecommunications industry. His background crosses the optical, wireless and enterprise markets in telecom/IT plus construction, engineering, car wash and convenience store industries.
He was a founder in an Optical and Wireless MEM's company and co-holds two patents. Jay has provided consulting services to fifteen (15) firms at varying stages of development including early-stage companies, large firms building divisions, workouts and small firms looking to grow. Services included business and strategic planning, business development, alliance/vendor relationships, business modeling (projections) and interim COO/CFO.
Jay has been packaging, negotiating, and closing commercial loans, project/construction loans, SBA program loans (504 and 7(a)) - and equity investments throughout his career. He has significant experience negotiating and managing vendor, customer, and construction contracts. His expertise ranges from contracts and loans under $10,000 to more than $300,000,000.
