Amber Keith is passionate about helping small business start-ups grow and thrive. She enjoys thinking creatively in collaboration with a broad scope of individuals and organizations to solve internal and external problems. Amber strongly believes that community outreach and strategic partnership development is essential to small businesses development and retention. When advising SBDC clients, she draws from 17 years of marketing, fundraising, and event planning experience to help business owners learn how to complete market research and utilize analytics to develop targeted marketing strategies, social media calendars, control branding and image, and plan exciting opening and other B2B events that engage their target market.
Prior to working with the SBDC, she held positions in executive leadership for two national non-profits where she was responsible for regional and national marketing and communications strategies, development, and fundraising events. Additionally, she consulted locally with non-profits to assist with grant research and writing as well as overall fundraising strategy.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arkansas and has obtained a Supported Employment Specialist licensure, a Recreational Activities licensure, and is currently working on a Post Graduate Digital Marketing Strategies Certification from Cornell. Outside of work, Amber enjoys traveling, community involvement, interior design projects, and a good Netflix binge.
